On 21 December, Guangxi Runhan New Materials' aggregates project with annual production capacity of 10 million tons successfully commenced operation in Nanning, marking the official up and running of the first 10-million-ton class new-type environmentally friendly high-end aggregates project of CR Cement. The Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Yang Shunde and the General Manager of Southwest China Region of CR Cement Peng Fangqing jointly participated the commencement ceremony.

According to General Manager Peng Fangqing, this project was a key project promoted by CR Cement during the "Fourteenth Five-Year" period, which was also a major strategic investment cooperation project reached with the Nanning Municipal People's Government and was included in the first batch of major construction project coordinated and propelled by the Guangxi Autonomous Region in 2022. The project fully adheres to the green new development concept, adopts the fully enclosed, short and dry process technical route and is equipped with advanced production equipment for manufactured sand including new-type high-efficiency energy-saving crusher, environmentally-friendly intelligent multilayer vibrating screen, high-efficiency compound sand making machine, automatic loading machine and high-efficiency pulse jet bag filter. Through the intelligent production control system and the unattended smart logistics control and management platform, the project achieved automation, intelligentization as well as environmental friendliness in the exploitation of mines and the whole process of production, sales and delivery of products. It achieved construction goals such as the utilization of advanced and reliable yet simple and efficient production technology, high degree of intelligentization, small land occupation, lower investment cost and significant expected benefits. 

Commenced construction in May 2022, the total investment of the project was approximately RMB1.3 billion. After 234 days and nights of hard work by all employees of Guangxi Runhan New Materials, the project was completed. It has gone beyond the "acceleration" rarely seen in similar projects in China, demonstrating the pragmatic and enterprising spirit of CR Cement's people, and eventually completed construction and commenced operation on schedule with high quality. The up and running of the project not only provides a solid support for the transformation of CR Cement into a scientific and technological building materials enterprise and the completion of the goal of "stable growth", but also injects a strong impetus to the acceleration of the construction of the new western land-sea corridor and the promotion of the high-quality economic development of Guangxi.

This project is the third large-scale aggregates project of CR Cement commencing production in Guangxi within these two months after the Shangsi and Tianyang aggregates projects, fully demonstrating the confidence and determination of CR Cement to strengthen and expand the aggregates business. Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, employees of CR Cement will work persistently without weariness and strive with courage to achieve the grand goal of "building another China Resources Cement".

The up and running ceremony

The first truck of aggregates products was shipped from the factory
